FINALLY. sentosa yesterday! right after my last physics paper. with peter, deny, santi, tommy. we practically explored the whole island with deny being a smart alec and misguiding us all the time. met a few saints. my sunbathing wasn't that succesful because of the cloudy weather. so uncooperative! :|

we went crazy AUSSINO shopping and we had some serious walking around PS. andrew joined us! this is becoming more rare and rare. bought all the necessary items for new house, but yeah we still have no idea the bed sizes, so no purchase of bedsheets yet. actually there are cute cute cute bed and quilt covers i eye for. i want! no matter what andrew says! haha. eh yuli stayed over. i never touch my physics! i brought the book around but never open at all. it's okay, i have tomorrow to study.

I REFUSE TO BELIEVE HOW NEAR I AM TO THE END. I MEAN THE REAL ENDING.

sa open house today. it was quite happening , there are excited sec4s and crowds and balloons everywhere (i heard the 30th stayed overnight IN THE SCHOOL just to pump the balloons!) the open house shirts and shoebags are simply SAINTSATIONAL! :D i offered to buy the shirt but apparently the shirts were in hot demand and of course, priority is given to the freshies. oh wells. i watched the dance and choir performances ONLY. when principal's talk came after that, everyone was like running away! haha. anyway, noone knows nor cares about the new principal! we loveee our mrs lim! give her back to us :|

went to settle some house matters. learned to find my way to azelea park by bus. it was quite easy and convenient really. for the curious ones, here's again a sneak peek of our new condo:

okay, right after that, went to have dinner at pizza hut tampines before heading to ikea for new house items hunting. pete's treat! haha. some pics:

woohh. today was my second last paper. chem mcq. i thought it was okay, but i won't know if i made any mistakes really. i'm actually feeling pretty high right now; i was tidying up my table, clearing the pile of papers and chem notes scattering on my desk. one more subject to be junked. i felt much load and pressure has been lifted off my shoulders. now the only book remaining on my desk is most certainly the adorable physics. can't wait till tuesday! so tomorrow is SA open house '07. cheam will let me know if he's going by tonight. if he is, most prob i'll be going too. the school is so pretty with all the eye-catching deco and huge banners and colourful stickers from each CCA. there's this looooong banner saying "ST ANDREW'S JUNIOR COLLEGE OPEN HOUSE 2007..." along the jacob ballas bridge! it's seriously BREATHTAKING! yeah, you can't deny SA is rich. i can see that the 30th is feeling quite excited about the event. i could very well recall how i felt last year, i was in charge of the distribution of the famous SA shoebag (where apparently the sec4s come to SA just to collect the shoebag). i think this is their first important event, followed by grad night soon and of course the highlight of any councillor's job - orientation early next year. ok, so on a different note, it's crystal clear to me that most of my schoolmates are already thinking that As is over(self made-believe). despite the one little paper we have left on tuesday, some are already going for a hairdo, some are going to sentosa this weekend, some are fetching relatives from china. well, i still don't know what's right - for me to have fun during my 3 days break or just lie low and party like there's no tomorrow on tuesday 9.15 am sharp. hmm either way works for me actually, but maybe being my usual good self, i'd go with the latter one. or maybe both haha :D okky msged me today before chem paper confirming the news from deny that we'll be going sentosa on monday. i told him it's tuesday and he asked why sentosa and i replied him i wanna suntan and his reply was seriously hilarious: why? i'm already chao-ta like this! hahaha isn't he just funnaayyy. i told peter and he laughed like hell. oh about the house, it's pretty much settled, everything went super smoothly (i still refuse to believe it), and most likely we'd sign the contract tomorrow. i bought new seventeen today, with gorgeous mischa on the cover. alright. so tell me, are your eyes hurting from reading this neat neat entry? i hope not, it's not my intention. well, if yes, all i can tell you is that there's always a compromise to being kaypo. the much-dreaded phy p2 today! (the holiday was taking its toll on me!)
you're not gonna believe when i say this, but it was MUCH MUCH better than p3!
i've no idea what is different, but i guess it's the confidence level i have. THAT definitely changes.
cheam lectures me all the time about confidence. andrew does too! haha. okay, and so does my super-caring-and-lovely-but-can-be-a-moron-sometimes sister, yuli!
so took bus all the way back with siangyee and like always, he gave me his motivational speech again. he's damn good at it i tell you. haha. well, lawyer-wannabe, what do you expect. and even HE admitted that physics so far has been tricky! (he's my physics 'shifu', btw, who always entertains aaaalll my physics questions and he teaches me phy all the time.) yeah but like always too, he ended up bossing me around, "tmr morning you help me check what class i'm in and msg me okay?" and i don't even know his index number. he told me 0183. (ok i write here as a note, this is helpful.) well, one day i'm gonna miss him bossing me around, but maybe not now or in the near future anyway.
ok, so my evil twin decided to show up last night where i practically turned into a moody bitch and offended alot of ppl. omg i felt so sucky ystd and it was awful. mostly cos of yuli! i couldn't study and almost picked a fight with andrew! haha. well, i don't wanna be that person again, no thanks.

went to school to consult chem today. since i figured staying at home isn't exactly helping me study much. might as well waste time asking teachers questions in school. that way at least i learn smth. so i started my day reallyyy well. i set an appointment with mrs leow at 12 and i planned my time in such a way that i'll reach school just in time for the consultation. so i was walking down the long main entrance pathway. i saw this group of around 5 teachers walking out, approaching me. inside my head, i already went "ohh crap." and when i actually coincided with them, one of the female teachers (whom i've no idea of nor have seen before, well maybe she's a j1 teacher) 'greeted' me.
she: are you coming for consultation?
me: yes.
she: with who?
me: mrs leow.
she: do you know that you're not supposed to wear pe shorts if u're consulting? (she delivered the line so damn politely that i can't even be pissed.)
she: eh i thought mrs lim (my principal btw) said that we're allowed to wear blue shorts?
KC LEONG. get this right! i repeat, KC LEONG. (for those who has no clue who's this infamous guy, he's my moral ed uber METRO -THE METRO-EST i've ever known a person in my life- teacher who catches girl's skirts shamelessly and will unhesitantly call a girl by "the girl wearing adidas sportsbra!" alright enough intro) : she means BERMUDAS, not shorts.

she: so, would you like to go back and change?

that's like very 'smart' of me la. if only when they asked me if i'm coming for consultation and i said no, just to self-study, then they wouldn't have bothered me. nobody would care what bottom i'm wearing! well yeah, that just goes to show my innocence :)
so then i turned and walked towards the gate. i called cheam immediately, asking him to rescue me. he helped me borrow steffi's skirt who luckily happened to be in school and was leaving school for lunch and took the trouble to send them to me! haha THANKSSS A ZILLION cheamie! :D
okay. so i had my chem consultation till 3/4 pm. i finished the tys :) and then went to meet cheamie they all at third floor to return steffi her skirt. THANKS TO STEFFI I LOVE YOU. after that cheam asked me to go down to LT 1 where he played the piano and i was stunned to death! he played the chopin's pieces that jay chou's played on the movie secret PERFECTLY pls. his fingers like moved by itself la, mind you! and apparently he can play with 1 hand too. and without looking too. GREAT. you make me feel so musically retarded cheam! :|
yeah anyway, thats basically how i spent today. peter called a few times, once when i was in the toilet in school and yeah i answered anyhow. haha. oh ya the HOUSEEE thingy! damn stressed, need to act fast. looking for yuli's support here. and peter's physical support to pack stuff obviously. haha. no offence pete. they went to watch GAMEPLAN without me. well, it's not like i'm uninvited, it's just i cant possibly join them. they are the evil i should toss away. for now at least. haha.


ohh yeaaah, how come the 30th get to paint and decorate the SC wall with like gravitti while they didn't even approve our proposal to do the same exact thing last year? WHY? unfair b#%*$.

i've just gone through the trouble of changing my blog skin but omg it was too much of a pain in the ass that i decided to change it back to my classic minima black default skin! SIMPLICITY ROCKS :) very naive of me huh.
i must blame yuli for influencing me and making me consider changing. but then again, why did i let her mess with my head in the first place? SHE'S NOT THAT INFLUENTIAL. this is so flawed!

it was quite fun and entertaining.

early in the morning, cinny msged me to tell me that she's not coming to school and asked me to help keep any papers for her.
hence, today only me and wh came to school.
chapel, mrs lim taught us about interview. she's so funny! the cutest principal a school could ever have. haha.
wh only attended physics then ponned the rest.
so i decided to attend phy, chem and econs and skipped GP (last period, very useless)
i slept all the way through econs post-mortem lecture.
haha. i've been having difficulties sleeping at night man!
no wonder i'm so stressed.
hmmm.
so my school ended at 1.30 today.
my mom called me to ask whether i'm coming.
apparently, peter just had another operation to remove the metal support!
good for him!
i told mommy i couldn't possibly go cos i have to study, but maybe tomorrow.
i have to maximise my time, cos prelim is like monday! *SHRIEKS*
i decided to pon tomorrow cos friday lessons are like so very unproductive.
i'll just be wasting my time going.
i wanna study hard today so tomorrow at least i can go visit peter.

so, celebated YULI'S BIRTHDAY !

woke up and busy contacting people for yuli's surprise bdae celebration.
dedy and deni just couldn't make it cos parents are in town.
tommy was free.
okky dokky was bookable.
eriko and malik also no problem.
inez not sure, see whether timing fits.
after that, travelled straight to the hospital.
was cracking my brain on how to hide my very big present inside the huge ROBINSONS bag.
so took cab down, cos yuli's been bugging me non-stop.
when i reached, called tommy, asked him come down meet me outside 7-11 to discuss the issue.
so, we decided on a seemingly great plan.
i ran upstairs to get my mom down.
peter's ward was again full of his classmates, but what made it different this time is that there was SRI !
hahaha :D
bet peter was on cloud nine.
he was smiling all the time la.
so, got my mom out and quickly went to buy cake.
bought a super nice cake, BIG AND CHOCOLATIE!

and after that we went back to the hospital and hid the stuff somewhere (cannot mention here, cos don't want to let yuli know! haha)
went up and hang out there to wait for everybody to come.

later that night peter's 4e1 gang also came, but they didn't follow us to simei to celebrate.
so me, okky and tommy quickly and stealthily made our way to simei first to prepare the cake.
we decided to just disappear!
cos it was too difficult to think of reasons to tell the rest of the people.
haha.
so after that called my mom to inform her that we were waiting for them at LJS.
when they came, yup, the surprise was on.
everything went smoothly! :)
we each had a considerably huge portion of cake and a meal.
woahhh. FULL!

and i did alot of phototaking and videotaping.
too bad peter was unable to celebrate together.
but after that we headed back to the hospital to share the cake with the rest who nv follow.

school was just like normal but gossipped alot with sy today.
then after school went home straight to get changed to go to the hospital to meet peter and my mom.
me and my mom went out afterwards to shop and look at puppies! :)
haha quite a shopping.
left peter with his 4 girl classmates.
then met yuli at simei for dinner again.
asked tommy who was visiting peter at that time to join us again for dinner, but he just ate.
so, 3 of us had dinner together.
headed back to hospital for last minute stuff.
turned out a whole gang of peter's classmates were there.
those nice boys. :)
hung out with them for quite some time before going back at around 11 after much nagging from my mom.

chapel this morning, a man from Andrew & Grace Home came to talk to us.
he and his wife are the proud owners of the house for troubled youths.
5 normal-looking teenagers came and performed some musical drumming or something of the kind.
i was quite taken aback by the fact that such normal, typical teenagers like them actually attempted suicide, victim of abuse, kleptomaniac, and slow learner with low esteems.
the man talked alot, he was quite an ah-beng actually.
the way he acted and spoke was very crude in my opinion.
but yeah, it was entertaining and meaningful!

i stayed back after school for 3 hrs to attend econs ON lecture.
nevermind, i shall not complain here.
anyway, it's for my own benefit. cos prelim is like haunting.
arrrggghhh.

i just heard the news that peter had been moved to the general ward !
that's one good news.
talked to him, asked him how's his leg now.
he's doing much better now.
guess they are just waiting for his leg to heal.
and then he's free to go.
can't wait till that day.

last night cannot sleep.
like got weird feeling :(
this morning was tired cos only slept 4 hours.
wednesdays suck!
the worst of the worse.
cos the whole day only one half-an-hour break! (bloody econs!)
oh yeah. the 30th gave out study kits for each of the jc2 to 'supposedly' encourage us for prelims.
i thought it was nice and very rich of them to do so.
cos i remember last year, we only gave sweets in bowls (how unglam), stood outside classrooms before their prelims and offered them.
JUST LIKE THAT.
and the study kit is full of stuff la: highlighter, card, pencil case, notepad, bookclipper, cadburys and yuppis!
haha. quite a variety.
and oh yeah, siang yee asked me to translate a letter for his maid that is leaving.
woaahh, his letter is super sweet la, touching and abit emo.
i didn't know he is close to and care so much about his maid.
if you know him, you'd agree with me haha.
hmmm school is tiring.
stayed back for physics mock prelim paper 1 and it was sucky!
i'm kind of immune to all these tests already.
you know, while i was in the CC in the middle of the test, MY PHONE RANG! COMPLETE WITH THE MELODIOUS RINGTONE!
i was mortified la.
when i checked afterwards, i found out that the person to be thankful to is YULI !!

yesterday after school went to hospital.
it was only awhile before they took peter away for the minor operation.
he was hungry and thirsty cos have to fast before operation.
just minutes before the nurses took him away, tommy and 2 other classmates came right after their english oral.
then we gave peter some encouraging words.
and my mom wasn't even there, she was sitting outside watching tv! -_-'
then after that, went to simei.
met yuli there.
we went to pet safari and i fell in love with this TOY POODLE!

much more ex than chichuahua (which, btw, my mom adores)
my mom said later when i move house then buy.
yay!
then yuli wanted an aquarium to keep fishes too.
so random, but i think my mom might be buying for her due to her coming birthday.

and peter's tuition teacher, mrs ho came in the morning and again in the afternoon.
let me tell you, SHE'S SUPER NICE. MOTHERLY. SHE'S AN ANGEL MAN. VERY CARING.
she cared for peter like his real mum la...
she said she's afraid that nobody's gonna feed peter, then she came back. she made peter drink lots of water. bought for him food and drinks. and talked to the nurse.
and she came with her son.
when mrs ho was feeding peter, i was standing beside her son then he suddenly talked to me, " you're his friend is it?"
i replied, "no, his sister."
he said, "SA right?"
haha i was surprised there. "huh you also???"
"nope, only first 3 months."
"then how you know me?"
"justin." then he laughed.
"i see! then are you still in SA?"
"no, i'm in tpjc now."
that's a shocker there. the world is so small. then his mom started talking about him and justin.
me: "your mum is very nice ah. were you here since morning?"
him: "no i just came. i had to do some project in the morning. how's a level preparation going?"
very nice mother and son.
then after making sure peter is comfy, mrs ho left. she said she'll come back tomorrow.
i thank her from the bottom of my heart man.
then called okky.
he came. we went to eat at simei.
then we went back to the hospital.
peter was generally better. but he had stomachache cos cannot pass motion.
then we kept terrorising the nurse.
and right before we went home ( around 10 plus, the nurse said the visiting hours is up) he did successfully!
i was relieved. cos he looked kinda miserable.
okay. tmr hopefully going there again.

OH YEAH.
I DROPPED ANDREW'S BRAND NEW PHONE YESTERDAY!
(not proud of it, but have to remember this day haha)

i'm writing this entry at like 12 45 am. so when i refer to today, that means 8th august ok, not 9th.
today went to school national day celebration.
short and quite fun.
early in the morning changed into timmy's oversized gomes pe shirt.
haha even darrell asked me whether it's tim's one.
anyway.
joshua didn't win the singing competition.
most of the j1s did.
but he performed well though! :)
then they played musical chairs and guess who's the winner? (out of 40 people, a mixture of teachers and students)
MY PRINCIPAL!
haha. SURE. no surprise there.
then after school, went to buy a cute card and a yellow gerberra flower for peter.


btw early in the morning the nurse called me already, to let me know his ward and bed number.
i immediately felt bad for not visiting him yet.
after that travelled straight to changi general hospital.
didn't know how to get there, but i kind of knew it is around simei area.
so i took the train to simei mrt and hailed a cab to get to CGH.
but the taxi driver told me that CGH is just around the corner and he even asked me don't waste money and almost refused to send me there.
haha. but i took the cab still.
eh yea, met joyce when hailing taxi.
she was shouting my name across the street la.
haha.
when i reached there, peter's ward was full of his classmates.
very nice of them.
when i first saw peter's condition, my heart kind of like sank.


felt really really sorry for him. :(
especially when he was in pain and almost cried.
siighh.
and he's bored to death too!
i really hope and pray that he's gonna be okay asap.
like ASAP!
i'll try to make it a point to visit him as often as i can.
today quite alot of visitors came: santi, peter's classmates, eriko, isenky, inez, andrew.
me and yuli accompanied peter for like the whole day.
after that decided to go eat at simei with yuli, inez and andrew.
then yuli and inez double-dated to watch movie.
i went home by cab.
tired!!!!!
